Terms and Conditions

If you have access to this forum, you will be bound by the following terms and conditions:

Before anything: people aged 13 and under can't register on this site. Despite BWS is not an american initiative, our service is given away to anybody, and American laws may be involved. There are also european regulations which we are needed do comply.

What is a Warn? Just a verbal warning. But if you are warned too often, there is a high chance to become banned.

What is a Ban? restricting your right to use membership-based features of this site. Bans on Beerwin.com and it's subdomains are permanent.

What is an IP-Ban? Restricting access to Beerwin.com and it's subdomains from an IP address. This is usd only as a last resort.

What is an IP Range Ban? Access restriction raised against entire IP classes to Beerwin.com and it's subdomains. This is used only in situations when Beerwin.com or it's server is under attack and there are no other protective ways.

1. Please, be respectful to anybody and watch your language. Otherwise: Warn.
2. No flood. Flood limit: 5 consecutive posts. Otherwise: Ban
3. No spam. Otherwise: Ban
4. Only one image/post. Otherwise: Warn. Exception: Bug reports. Restriction: Image width can't exceed 400 pixels in width.
5. No Off-topic. Warn after 3 occurences, Ban after the fourth.
6. No copyrighted materials. On these forums everything will be shared with others. Copyrighted materials will be deleted. Exception: fair-use conditions. Off-topic rules apply.
7. Critics must be posted with explanation. Not because of BWS, but because of all of us. Unexplained critics in mail(beerwin@xenzor.ro) please. Off-topic rules apply.
8. Everything has it's own category/forum. Please put your posts in appropriate categories. Off-topic rules apply.
9. Thanks for your understanding.

How to post a bug report?

When you post a bug report, please follow this recommendation (it takes very little of your time, and saves a few extra posts), or how to save our and your time.

1. Check your system
   PlainHTML is a 32bit program, designed for Windows NT 5+ (W2000,XP,Vista,7), IE6+ required.
2. Try to reproduce the problem
   Hint: If possible, try to create the same conditions where the problem occured, and do the same things.
   Reason: It may be a singular occasion and may not occur anymore or may occur rarely.
3. Specify the product name and its version used by you.
   Hint: You can find correct version numbers in about boxes/tabs.
4. Specify the function where you encountered the problem.
   Hint: when accessing a menu item, clicking on a button, editing text, inserting picture, etc
5. If possible, attach screenshots of the problem

How to post a feature request?

To post a feature request, you are requested to give a detailed description of the desired feature, e.g.:

Mysql Explorer

Connect to local and remote MySQL databases

Create, drop, select database

Create, drop, show tables

Show table content/structure

Allow SQL execution either from a pasted SQL or SQL created with built-in wizard

Show error messages

You have no format restriction.
